AASHTO, the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials,
is an Organization that represents the interests of highway and
transportation departments in the 50 states, the District of Columbia,
and Puerto Rico. The Association includes all five transportation modes:
air, highways, public transportation, rail, and water. The primary
goal of the Association is to foster the development, operation, and
maintenance of an integrated national transportation system through
providing education, setting standards, and acting as a liaison between
state and federal governments.
ACEC, the American Council of Engineering Companies,
is the national organization representing the business interests of
engineering firms across the United States. ACEC seeks to support
engineering firms through advocacy, education, and conferences.
ACECNY, the American Council of Engineering Companies of New York,
is the state organization representing the business interests of
engineering firms in New York. The goal of the Organization is to
further the business interests of their membership, enhance the quality
and safety of the environment we live
and work in, and help ensure the vitality of communities.
